This workshop will focus on wheel-throwing, precise assembly, and handcrafted details to create a fully functional teapot.

Workshop Breakdown
Day 1:
• Introduction to Japanese teapots and their historical significance
• Understanding the functional design elements of a Kyusu
• Throwing the key components: body, lid, spout, and handle
Day 2:
• Trimming and refining thrown components
• Crafting and attaching the handmade ceramic mesh strainer
• Connecting all elements and adding final touches
By the end of the workshop, each participant will have a completed Kyusu teapot, ready for drying and firing.
